Why gardening works

Last year, at the same time, it was incredibly hot ♨ summer and I was trying to figure out how to cope with it without using an air conditioner. That’s when I decided to build a home garden 👨‍🌾 — a one year project.

🌵 My goal was to offset the electricity and carbon that I personally consume. Currently, my home garden has around 20 different plants, which is 1/4 of my overall goal. I have a long way.

☘ Having a garden is brilliant because I get to see squirrels, different types of birds, and refreshing flowers in the morning. I am also constantly learning from my experiences. Currently, I am cultivating tomatoes 🍅 and ivy gourd.

The size of my garden is 10 meters long and 60 centimeters wide.

As the proverb goes, “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.”
